Small and lands softly, and it has a range of appealing crustacean characteristics, the Crab Cake is a great permit, bonefish, and triggerfish fly. It has also been used to catch tide-water kings and as a very effective follow-up fly when swing fishing for steelhead. It's like a wiggly little muddler but different.
